The Campaign comments on the GLA Transport Committee’s HS2 Report
Today, the London Assembly released their HS2 report. The report is available here.
In response, Professor David Begg, Director of the Campaign for High-Speed Rail, said:
“I’m pleased the Assembly is supportive of HS2, and have read with interest some of the amendments they would like to make to the scheme, but these amendments come at a price, and London already receives more transport spending per resident than any other area in the country.”
